Steps to make Hashbrowns:
  1. Peel your potatoes, wash them then grate.
  2. Wash the grated potatoes in cold water to reduce the starch content then drain the excess water using a kitchen towel or paper towels. Sprinkle some salt
  3. In a pan, put some cooking oil and fry the potatoes for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove and drain excess oil. Put in a bowl and let it cool
  5. Add the flour, and cheese then mix. At this point you could add spices of your choice
