The ingredients needed to make Kosha Mangsho:
  1. Prepare 500 GM Mutton
  2. Make ready 3 Onion
  3. Get 2 Tomato
  4. Take 10 Garlic Cloves
  5. Take 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  6. Take 2 Tsp Garam Masala Powder
  7. Make ready to taste Salt
  8. Make ready 1 Tsp Sweet Curd
  9. Get 1 tsp Sugar
  10. Take as required Mustard Oil
Instructions to make Kosha Mangsho:
  1. Take mutton pieces. Marinate them with 1 tsp turmeric powder and 1 Tsp Salt. Mar
  2. Put it in Pressure Cooker. Add 1 onion (diced), 2-4 garlic cloves. Pressure cook for 20 minutes. Add Potato pieces.
  3. Now cut remaining Onion,tomato into thin slices. Put it in pan for frying. Saute till the veggies become golden. Cool it after.
  4. Transfer to a blender. Make paste.
  5. Take a bowl. Add the ground spices along with sweet curd. Make paste. Add bit of water if needed.
  6. Pour mustard oil in pan. Temper the oil with 1 tsp Sugar. Add the tomato onion paste.
  7. Saute for few minutes. Then add the spices-sweet curd paste. Cook till raw smell of the masala goes away.
  8. Add the Mutton pieces
  9. Add salt to taste.
  10. Mix everything well. Cook till masala mix well with the mutton pieces.
  11. Add water. (Use the Mutton stock, pour water in the masala bowl and put it in pan).
  12. Cook in medium flame. Cook till oil starts floating on the top. Sprinkle 1 Tsp Garam Masala Powder and finish cooking.
