  5. Heat oil in a kadai to deep fry. Fry the tater tots till crispy. Remove and keep aside.
  6. Mix ketchup, mayonnaise and chili sauce.
  7. To assemble, cut the eggs in half. Snip off a little egg white from the bottom so that the eggs don't topple over.
  8. Spread some prepared sauce on the bottom egg. And place a lettuce on each.
  9. Now place 2 tater tots on each. Add some caramelised onion on top.
  10. Now cover with the other egg half and secure with a cherry tomato half and a toothpick.
  11. Yummy egg tater tots are ready. Serve hot.
